What does it feel like to work and study in the United Kingdom today? The Brexit has created a great deal of uncertainties for “EU migrants,” i.e. citizens of the European Union who live or plan to live in Britain. Yet, British universities were overwhelmingly in favour of staying in the European Union, and the academic community remains a welcoming environment for non-British citizens. This talk will focus on the specific case of Loughborough University, in the East Midlands, to discuss the consequences of the Brexit on academics and students. It will also examine the opportunities that are still available to those interested in working and studying in Britain. (Poster)
